Yielding to the Wind for flute and cello is inspired by the imagery of a haiku, evoking the sensation of being carried away by the wind—both physically and metaphorically. The piece explores a state of surrender, where one allows oneself to be guided by unseen forces, embracing movement, change, and the fleeting beauty of the present moment. Through the interplay of flute and cello, the music unfolds as a dialogue between vulnerability and freedom.
